My family and I moved to Minnesota in 2006. My interest in photography began after our wedding in 2003, when we received the proofs for our wedding pictures and could not have been more disappointed. It became my mission to capture the special moments in our lives so we would always have something to look back on and remember exactly how we were feeling during those times. Photography started as a hobby, but as I began doing more photos for family and friends, I realized it was something that I was very passionate about.
There is something to be said about a picture that can capture the essence of a moment. That is what Amy Anderson Photography is about, capturing your special moments. My style is pretty simple, my favorite photos are ones that capture candid moments and I love doing outdoor pictures, using the elements and natural sun light to enhance the quality of your pictures.
I feel it is important to hear your ideas/visions before your photo session and feel capturing you in your element is most successful; whether it be your favorite park, beach, your home, or any location that has special meaning to you.
